Installation Instructions#

  1. Download the latest version using the link above

  2. Run the downloaded .msix file

  3. Follow the installation wizard prompts

  4. Enable network access when prompted, this is required for the configurator to work.

  5. Launch the SLM-MX Configurator from your Start Menu

Features#

  • Automatic Device Discovery: Scan and connect to SLM-MX devices on your network

  • Module Configuration: Configure all connected I/O modules

  • Network Settings: Configure IP addresses, DHCP, and network parameters

  • Modbus Mapping: View and export Modbus register mappings

  • Firmware Updates: Update SLM-MX and module firmware

  • Offline Configuration: Create and import configuration files

  • Factory Reset: Reset devices to factory defaults

Installation Issues#

  • Permissions: Please enable network access when prompted, this is required for the configurator to work.

Connection Issues#

  • Ensure your SLM-MX is powered on and connected to the network

  • Check that your computer is on the same network as the SLM-MX

  • Try the manual connection method
