# What's in the Box

The SLM-RP4 ships assembled and ready to run. OpenPLC Runtime is already installed and starts automatically at power-up.

The carton contains:

- The **SLM-RP4 base controller**, with the DIN rail clip fitted.
- A **terminal block connector** for 24 VDC power.
- An **SD card**, already inserted in the SLM-RP4.

The SD card contains the operating system and OpenPLC Runtime. The SLM-RP4 cannot boot without it. See {doc}`../reference/factory-reset` for the reimaging procedure.
